One thing that Ive acquired a bias in taking photos of is incense. Personally, I hate the smell but I do love the variety and the smoke and fire and also how it burns. When I was in Panyu, I went to LianHuaShan where the Guanyin Statue (that faces the ocean) is. The thing is ginormous and quite a site. There was lots of incense burning so it gave me ample opportunity to capture them. Another time, my uncle took me to Foshan Ancestral Temple. This is where they house Ip Man and Wong Fei-Hung’s memorial. It was quite cool to see that. Anyway, there was an interesting batch of incense in front of the confuscious temple. Reaaaal nice.
