While Louids is gone VI – Colours and Fabric

This is Main Street around 49th Avenue. Located in the Sunset Neighbourhood are ~6 blocks worth of a very neat Punjabi community. Angie pointed out the street signs have have both English and Punjabi on them which is really cool. This tangible evidence that our city is extremely multi-cultural is truly inspiring (exact adjective on that day…though the cheese may stem from the fact that we were trying to take pictures for a contest and inspiration was one of the themes (doesn’t take away the truth from it though, I do really think its very amazing)). Anyway, I love the fabric shops there, it’s so colourful and happy.
